court again
Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 - 7:20 a.m.

Went to court a couple of days ago. Not much to say about it. My daughter tried lying through her teeth to save her boyfriend from getting in trouble. Whatever. I hate hearing it. In court. Yesterday we had a meeting with all of J's "care providers", which includes a counselor, a couple of women who are supposed to teach her how to be a good parent, her probation officer, the GAL and the social worker. Needless to say J has not been completely honest with any of them. How can she get the help she "needs" if she is not honest? Because she doesn't really want the help, she just wants to get out of the trouble she is in right now. That is why I truly believe we will end up with baby A permanently. She can't be honest, she doesn't want help, which will only lead us back to the place we are at right now.

Baby A will stay with us until November 27th. We go back to court on that date and for a permanency hearing. If it's anything like E's process it won't be the last court appearance. The process was drawn out for almost a year with him. I hope it's not that way for her.
